This national park in California has plenty of hiking trails, waterfalls and beautiful views that will make you feel like you're exploring a new planet. If hiking isn't your thing, there are also many other activities available such as biking or fishing for trout at Lake Tahoe. There's something for everyone here so come out and explore!
Yosemite National Park is America's third oldest park and located in the Sierra Nevada Mountain range of California. It contains half of Yosemite falls, El Capitan, one of North Americas largest granite monoliths, and much more.
Yosemite is full of wildlife such as bear, deer, coyote, foxes, frogs, lizards and birds; many people take advantage of this by hiking or camping to get up close with nature. The weather depends on where you are in the park but it mainly consists of snow fall during winter which melts into waterfalls that can be seen throughout other seasons. The summer months consist of warm temperatures; sunny days; however it does tend to rain at night making for slippery rocks and trails (although this has no effect on the wildlife).
