The Black Forest, located in southwestern Germany is a magical place. It's one of those places that looks like it's out of a storybook. With its tall, dark trees and winding paths, it's no wonder it's been the inspiration for so many stories over the years.
This region has all kinds of attractions: hiking, walking tours (some complete with little-train rides), and trails that lead through thick green forests until eventually opening up into bright green meadows full of wildflowers. These colourful landscapes are a dream for any flower-lover, and if you're one of them, I highly recommend the hike from Feldberg to Todtnau.
