The Ring Tailed Lemur is a fascinating creature found in the tropical forests of Madagascar. These curious animals have a long, black and white ringed tail that they use for balance as they swing through the trees.

Ring Tailed Lemurs are the largest of all the lemurs and can weigh up to nine pounds. They live in social groups of up to 15 individuals and communicate with each other through a variety of vocalizations including barks, howls, cackles, and trills.

These animals are herbivores and feed on leaves, fruit, flowers, and bark. They are also known to eat insects on occasion. Ring Tailed Lemurs enjoy spending time in the sun and will often lie out on branches or logs to get a good tan.

They are very active animals and like to play games such as chase and tag. They also enjoy swinging from tree to tree, which is how they got their name.
